Shop Life™ Contest Rules (Contest Extended!)



Here is what we are looking for:

The Shop Life™ brand was developed as a way to give back to local women, children and families in need in our community. Our mission is:

  • Offer a brand for women to celebrate their love of shopping
  • Help make lives better for local women, children and families in need
  • Showcase local entrepreneurial women and their designs through the Shop Life™ website and social media audiences


The design you provide should be fresh and unique, tied into our mission and represent our brand. We welcome beautiful custom designed artwork and graphic designs as well as text designs (clever slogans or quotes). Here is a link to download our logos, but our logos are not a requirement for your design. Be inspired! See the rules below:


  1. Eligibility: This Campaign is open only to those who sign up at Employees of Shop Life™, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and suppliers, (collectively the “Employees”), and immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of Employees are not eligible to participate in the Campaign. The Campaign is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.
  2. Agreement to Rules: By participating, the Contestant (“You”) agree to be fully unconditionally bound by these Rules, and You represent and warrant that You meet the eligibility requirements. In addition, You agree to accept the decisions of Shop Life’s final and binding as it relates to the content of this Campaign.
  3. All entries must be original creations of YOU that incorporate the Shop Life™ brand into the design, have never been published, and do not contain profanity, trademarks, logos, or copyrighted works of any other person or business.
  4. The winning designs will remain the property of Shop Life™ and will not be returned to you. Shop Life™ may use the winning designs at any time after the contest. The winning designs may display their own design in a portfolio or personal collection but may not sell or reproduce the design for any other purpose once submitted to the contest.
  5. Shop Life™ will review and post submissions at for public voting from January 24, 2019 to April 30, 2019 in determining the winning entries.
  6. We reserve the right to choose one entry, more than one entry, or no entries as the winning entries.
  • Your entry should be accompanied by your name and contact information.
  • File size should not exceed 10 MB.
  • The entry may be either .PNG or .PSD art file format with at least 150 DPI.  Maximum print area is 10 x 12 for small, medium and large sizes and 12 x 16 for XL and 2XL. Print file size is 10” x 12”.
  • Use transparent backgrounds
  • Set files to RGB color space
  • All fonts should be converted to outlines unless your graphics are in PNG format


Tips for best results:

  • Semi-transparent graphics (or elements with lowered opacity) don't translate well in printing. We advise you use solid colors.
  • Simply typing in a new resolution into the file won't result in a higher resolution print. If your graphic's resolution is too low, the best solution is to recreate it.
  • Black ink will appear grey on black garments because of the white under base we print. Leave these areas transparent when designing for black garments.


  1. Campaign Period: Entries will be accepted online starting on January 24, 2019 at 12:00 a.m. EST and ending April 30, 2019 at 11:59 p.m. EST. Voting will begin immediately and announced on the Shop Life™ website Voting will end on April 30, 2019 at 11:59 p.m. EST. Individuals may cast one vote per entry per 24-hour period.
  2. How to Enter: The Campaign must be entered by submitting a design via the Shop Life™ website at The entry must fulfill all Campaign and design requirements, as specified, to be eligible to win a prize. Entries that are incomplete or do not adhere to the rules or specifications may be disqualified at the sole discretion of Shop Life™. If you use fraudulent methods or otherwise attempt to circumvent the rules, your submission may be removed from eligibility at the sole discretion of Shop Life™.
  3. Prizes: There will be up to 3 Winners of the Campaign. The first-place winner will receive $250 from Shop Life™. The second-place winner will receive $150 from Shop Life™ and the third- place winner will receive $100 from Shop Life™. The specifics of the prize and delivery of prize shall be solely determined by Shop Life™. The prize is nontransferable. Any and all prize-related expenses, including without limitation any and all federal, state, and/or local taxes, shall be the sole responsibility of Winner. No substitution of prize or transfer/assignment of prize to others by Winner is permitted. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for Shop  Life™ to use Winner’s name, likeness, and entry for purposes of advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.
  4. Odds: The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
  5. Winner Selection and Notification: Winners will be selected via most votes received. Winners will be notified by email within five (5) days following selection of Winners. Shop Life™ shall have no liability for Winner’s failure to receive notices due to spam, junk e-mail or other security settings or for Winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. If Winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the prize within (10) days from the time award notification was sent, or fails to timely return a completed and executed declaration and release as required, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate Winner selected. Receipt by Winner of the prize offered in this Campaign is conditioned upon compliance with any and all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. ANY VIOLATION OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES BY WINNER (AT SHOP LIFE’S SOLE DISCRETION) WILL RESULT IN WINNER’S DISQUALIFICATION AS WINNER OF THE CAMPAIGN, AND ALL PRIVILEGES AS WINNER WILL BE IMMEDIATELY TERMINATED.
  6. Rights Granted by You: By entering this content (e.g., design) You understand and agree that Shop Life™, anyone acting on behalf of Shop Life, and Shop Life’s licensees, successors, and assigns, shall have the right, where permitted by law, to print, publish, broadcast, distribute, and use in any media now known or hereafter developed, in perpetuity and throughout the World, without limitation, your entry, name, portrait, picture, voice, likeness, image, statements about the Campaign, and biographical information for news, publicity, information, trade, advertising, public relations, and promotional purposes without any further compensation, notice, review, or consent. By entering this contest, You represent and warrant that your entry is an original work of authorship, and does not violate any third party’s proprietary or intellectual property rights. If your entry infringes upon the intellectual property right of another, You will be disqualified at the sole discretion of Shop Life™. If the content of your entry is claimed to constitute infringement of any proprietary or intellectual proprietary rights of any third party, You shall, at your sole expense, defend or settle against such claims. You shall indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Shop Life™ from and against any suit, proceeding, claims, liability, loss, damage, costs or expense, which Shop Life™ may incur, suffer, or be required to pay arising out of such infringement or suspected infringement of any third party’s right.
  7. Terms & Conditions: Shop Life™ reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Campaign should virus, bug, non-authorized human intervention, fraud, or other cause beyond Shop Life’s control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the Campaign. In such case, Shop Life™ may select the Winner from all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken by Shop Life™. Shop Life™ reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Campaign or website or violates these Terms & Conditions. Shop Life™ has the right, in its sole discretion, to maintain the integrity of the Campaign, to void votes for any reason, including, but not limited to: multiple entries from the same user from different IP addresses; multiple entries from the same computer in excess of that allowed by Campaign rules; or the use of bots, macros, scripts, or other technical means for entering. Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Campaign may be a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such attempt be made, Shop Life reserves the right to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.
  8. Limitation of Liability: By entering, You agree to release and hold harmless Shop Life and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers, and directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from: (i) such entrant’s participation in the Campaign and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof; (ii) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunction of any computer, cable, network, hardware, or software, or other mechanical equipment; (iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions, telephone, or Internet service; (iv) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Promotion; (v) electronic or human error in the administration of the Promotion or the processing of entries.
  9. Disputes: THIS CAMPAIGN IS GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF THE UNITED STATES AND FLORIDA, WITHOUT RESPECT TO CONFLICT OF LAW DOCTRINES. As a condition of participating in this Campaign, participant agrees that any and all disputes that cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Campaign, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in Florida having jurisdiction. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances shall participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorney’s fees, other than participant’s actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e. costs associated with entering this Campaign). Participant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.
  10. Privacy Policy: Your information will not be shared or sold to a third party.

  12. Sponsor: The Sponsor of the Campaign is Shop Life™.
  13. The Campaign hosted by Shop Life™ is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram or Facebook.
  14. By submitting your design to this contest, You, the Contestant, have affirmatively reviewed, accepted, and agreed to all of the Official Rules.

Acknowledgement and Assignment

I am submitting a contest entry with this form, and I hereby assign any and all rights in the intellectual property of this entry to Shop Life™. I agree that the entry I submit becomes Shop Life™ property and that the entry will not be returned to me.

I state that this entry is my own original creation and that I did not copy anyone else's work in creating this contest entry. I agree that if I have copied anyone else’s work in preparing this entry, and if I win this contest, I will pay back the award to Shop Life™ and will defend, indemnify and hold harmless Shop Life™ respective officers, directors, employees, suppliers, licensors, contractors and agents against and from any loss, debt, liability, damage, obligation, claim, demand, judgment or settlement of any nature or kind, known or unknown, liquidated or unliquidated, including without limitation, all reasonable costs and expenses incurred including all reasonable litigation costs and attorneys’ fees arising out of or relating to claims, complaint, action, proceeding or suit of a third party, that arise or relate in whole or part to the contestant’s entry.

I agree that if I win the contest, I authorize the use by Shop Life™, without additional compensation, of my name and likeness or photograph for promotional purposes in any manner and in any medium (including without limitation the Internet, written or email communications, brochures, videos, slides, radio, television, film) that you deem appropriate.
